Network management monitoring specialist (No. 201014 ) Location: Africa Job Description: A Network management monitoring specialist in a Satellite television broadcasting operator in Africa. The candidate will have deep Microsoft SCOM knowledge with hands on experience in monitoring and control systems as well as SNMP and WMI. The position is situated at the African headquarters and involves interesting topics as well as challenging team work . Excellent conditions for adequate candidates. The employee will be a team member of the Satellite TV operator. Will participate in the tech team to implement SCOM infrastructure. Will work under the project management to define and implement the solution. Will complete all relevant tasks to complete the SCOM imple mentation. Will utilize his knowledge of workflow automation, SCOM maintenance, WMI page reporting, Active Server usage, Perl scripting and HTML Will develop management packages using SCOM. The position is for 1 year with a few home leaves and an option for extension. Requirements: 1. Concise technical knowledge of Windows 2008 Active Directory, user group and permission management. 2. Concise technical knowledge of planning, implementation and support of System Center Operations Manager 3. Deep knowledge of Microsoft SQL. 4. Experience in views and alert generation screen design for different business processes as well as understanding service and SLA management and enforcement.  5. Fluent English.
